YES - Your Enquiry Service - has been launched by the State Library.  It uses an online enquiry system to refer queries to experienced State Library staff. YES is located at - http://slwa.wa.gov.au/find/services/information_services . Later in 2012, the National Library and State Libraries will collaborate to provide a national reference enquiry service to enable an enquiry to be handled by the library best able to satisfy the request.

An Easter breakfast was held on Thursday 5 April for about 20 Perth librarians at the Country Road Café.   With pleasant surroundings and mouthwatering dishes, the gloomy, rainy morning sprang to life with chatter, clatter and laughter as colleagues exchanged and updated their news.   The ALLA(WA) Committee would like to thank sponsors Thomson Reuters for the chocolate Easter bunnies and the Easter eggs, which we all enjoyed.

Ann has decided to leave Clayton Utz to relocate to rural Victoria to take up a career as a landscaper.  We wish her much success in her new venture.
