From the JCIPP abstract: The popularity of subscription video on demand platforms during COVID-19 prompted a new era in this form of entertainment. For people with disability, accessibility features such as captions and audio description became more available through the influx of international providers. At the same time, a larger audience also began using these features as part of their lockdown television experience.
