ALLA (NSW) CPD Event: NSW Caselaw: Search tips and tricks

The ALLA (NSW) Chapter has organised a CPD event open to all ALLA Members.  Gain insights into effectively searching the NSW unreported judgments database. Presented by Donna Reece, NSW Caselaw Support Manager - NSW Law Courts Library NSW Caselaw was developed in 1999 to publish decisions for New South Wales Courts and Tribunals administered by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. Improve your understanding with a tour through the site and using search tips and tricks, be able to find those elusive unreported judgments. ALLA Librarians take over the Lawfluent Podcast!

You read that right folks,  ALLA Librarians have taken over the Lawfluent Podcast this week! Our friends at Open Law, an innitiative of BarNet Jade, have been kind enough to let some ALLA members grace the airwaves during their season 2 episode: Law Librarians from ALLA! ALLA CPD Event: Trove Collaborative Services (Reschedule)

ALLA (NSW) have rescheduled their Trove Collaborative Services event! Trove Collaborative Services is a membership model that aggregates content from the collections of nearly 900 Australian libraries and collecting organisations and makes them accessible through the Trove discovery platform. Trove Partners have access to a variety of services connected to Trove including digitisation, cataloguing, resource sharing as well as a range of promotion, learning and support services.  In July 2022, the National Library will be introducing a new Trove Collaborative Service pricing model that incorporates feedback from the Trove Partner community and reflects how services are evolving.
