The Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO) provides legislative drafting services to the Government and publishes official legislation online and in hard copy. The PCO maintains and updates the content of the New Zealand Legislation website, the official source of New Zealand legislation.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced person to fill the role of Librarian. This is a sole charge role providing library and knowledge management services to PCO staff. The role maintains and develops the collection of hard copy and online resources and publications.

A library or information management qualification is preferred. Understanding of relevant legal information resources would be an advantage. You must be comfortable using technology and online knowledge management services, and be motivated to maintain up to date knowledge and skills.

You will have good communication skills and be able to maintain good working relationships with others. You will need to be able to work without close supervision and be ready to provide a high level of customer service.
