About 40 members and non-members turned out for the annual ALLA (WA) Icebreaker on the morning of 20 February, held in the Swan Boardroom at the Department of Commerce. The guest speaker was Ms Chris Richardson of the School of Media, Culture and the Creative Arts at Curtin University. She spoke on the forthcoming RDA (Resource Description and Access) cataloguing standard - a very relevant topic these days. It was a pleasure to see so many new (potential members) faces!
Thank you to Stel for providing the venue and organising the catering. The very generous and healthy breakfast was kindly sponsored by Justis, our new sponsor.
