About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Librarian to join our growing Knowledge & Library team. This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with various practice groups within the firm across all office locations and will be responsible for supervising two team members.

Duties

  • Provide research and reference services to the firm
  • Maintenance of the reference management system
  • Management of the electronic library management system
  • Maintenance of the firm’s intranet content
  • Produce and maintain legal research training materials and documentation
  • Provide training on Library tools and resources
  • Develop the library collection (electronic and hard copy)
  • Manage the library budget including contract negotiation

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Experience at a similar level gained in a library position, within a law firm environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build strong work relationships
