Our friends over in Victoria are back again with another great CPD for May.
On Tuesday 17 May at 11am Perth time, ALLA Members are invited to join librarians from court libraries across Australia who manage the unreported judgments publication process.
As lawyers, community members, and librarians increasingly access judgments in their unreported form, it's important to recognise them as an important source of law. Knowing how they come to be can help inform our research. Presenters from Victoria, Queensland and the High Court will discuss their role and that of their library in publishing judgments. They will cover the publication process, the various stakeholders involved, the impact on the profession, and the unique processes of the work they do.
