Location: Perth Knowledge & Research Centre

Description: A fantastic opportunity exists in the Perth Office of Herbert Smith Freehills for a Research Librarian. We are looking for a qualified and experienced librarian with a demonstrated commitment to providing high quality legal and business research to join our busy Perth Knowledge & Research Centre. The role is a 12 month part-time contract position available immediately. Previous experience in a law library is desired.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Provision of high calibre legal and business research services
  • Current Awareness and Knowledge Sharing
  • Knowledge Centre promotion and research skills training

Curtin University Law School now in the city

Curtin University has opened a new Law School campus in Perth’s Central Business District within an existing 1912 heritage listed building located at 57 Murray Street. Situated in the Perth CBD in close proximity to the Supreme Court, District Court and Perth Magistrate’s Court, as well as statutory tribunals such as the State Administrative Tribunal, the city campus will facilitate student’s education within an applied industry setting in line with Curtin’s primary vision of developing job-ready graduates.
