Job Opportunity: Library Administrator South Australian Parliament Research Library

Full Time / 12 month contract.

A Library Administrator is required to join a small team which provides library services to the Parliament.

The Library Administrator is accountable to the Director and is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Library's administrative activities.  The Library Administrator also acts as the Personal Assistant to the Director and is the first point of contact between the Library and other Parliamentary sections and outside agencies on administrative matters.

Employment is subject to provisions of the Parliament (Joint Services) Act 1985.  Recreation leave will not be approved on Parliamentary sitting days.  Appointment may be subject to a satisfactory offender history check.

Any person who has been, or is currently, active in political or electoral affairs may compromise the strict political neutrality of this position and will not be considered for appointment.
