The New Zealand Law Society Library is a private library providing information services to the New Zealand legal profession. The Library has an extensive collection (print & electronic), provides research and document delivery services and publishes the LINX database, an index to New Zealand legal materials.
We are seeking a motivated, friendly person to work in our Library in Auckland. The work comprises document supply, desk duties, data entry for LINX and various other library assistant level tasks.
If you take pride in your work, pay careful attention to detail, are flexible and enjoy a challenge, you may be the person we are looking for.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, computer literacy, time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
A tertiary qualification is preferred. Experience working in a law library, or legal knowledge and a library qualification or studying towards one, is an advantage.
