Selection Criteria
- A PhD, or appropriate professional qualification/accreditation in an area relevant to appointment.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching in the discipline or profession with demonstrated success in training students in legal research skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under broad direction only, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to successfully assist with supervision of honours, postgraduate and HDR students.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary approaches to curriculum and pedagogy and an ability to engage with teaching or clinical/professional practice scholarship for the discipline.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary and collegial team.
- Demonstrated high levels of written and oral communication skills in English.
Desirable
- Ability to consult with and provide advice and support to students in the clinical legal education program including outreach activities associated with the Street Law program.
- Ability to support students in research activities associated with mooting.
